The grandfather of the mystical scholar Sidi Ahmed Ben Al-Ayachi Skiredj was a contemporary of Sheikh Tijani, though he could not directly receive his teachings due to his young age. However, he later took up the wird from certain prominent moqaddems after the Sheikh’s passing. He was known for his religious dedication and continuous dhikr, reaching more than three thousand recitations of “Salat al-Fatih” daily until his peaceful passing.

As for his father, Al-Haj Al-Ayachi Skiredj, he was a virtuous, pious, and courageous man who fought valiantly in the Tetouan War, proudly keeping his rifle as a memento of his struggle. He was also an avid reader of "Dala’il al-Khayrat" and had a spiritual encounter with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), during which he saw the Seal of Prophethood. In his final days, he remained steadfast in his prayers and dhikr, increasing his acts of worship until he passed away in 1328 AH.

His mother, Lady Farouh Tazi, was a devout and virtuous woman, endowed with a purity of soul and excellent character. She was diligent in prayer and dhikr, embodying chastity, generosity, and selflessness in service to others. She was known for her charitable deeds, her hospitality, and raising her children with sincerity and integrity. She passed away in 1345 AH, and her son Ahmed Skiredj felt deep sorrow over her loss, mourning her in several poems that expressed his profound love and immense grief.
