Husul al-Amani: Commentary on Ifham al-Munkir al-Jani

This work by al-Hajj Malik Sy, edited and commented by Muhammad al-Radi Kunnun, is one of the major texts of doctrinal defense in Tijani literature. Its purpose is to set out the foundations of the Ahmadi Tijani path, clarify its principles, and respond to objections that have been raised against it across time. The book presents the lineage of Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani, key elements of his life, the beginnings of his path, and the resistance it encountered as it spread. It also discusses the notion of spiritual training through himmah, showing that spiritual education rests upon inward influence and Prophetic transmission.
